Rob Benedict Announces New Clothing Campaign Benefiting National Stroke Association

If you’re a Supernatural fan, then you know just how charitable and wonderful the cast is.

Over the last few years, many of them have held campaigns in order to raise funds for charity. Briana Buckmaster (Donna Hanscum) and Kim Rhodes (Jody Mills) have their “Wayward AF” campaign, Ruth Connell (Rowena) ran “Rowena’s Coven Couture”, and Osric Chau (Kevin) fundraised with “On the Hunt”. Just a few months ago, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins joined forces for the “Supernatural Family Love” campaign, which raised money for families in need during the holiday season.

Rob Benedict, aka, Supernatural‘s God, is the next one taking a stand.

On March 6th, Louden Swain’s frontman took to Facebook to explain the new campaign: “Rock God”.

Around three years ago, as many Supernatural and Louden Swain fans know, Rob had a stroke at one of the Supernatural conventions. As explained in the video, thanks to Richard Speight Jr., he was able to get to the hospital in time.

Since it happened, Rob has been a strong advocate for stroke awareness. In 2016, he posted a video about F.A.S.T., which was created to help people recognize the signs of a stroke.

Along with it, Rob held a campaign with Richard Speight Jr. called “Getting By With A Little Help”. It was a huge success, and a portion of the proceeds was given to the National Stroke Association.

With the “Rock God” campaign, a part of the proceeds will also be going to the National Stroke Association. It is being run through Creation Stands, with is a branch of Creation Entertainment, who organizes and runs the official Supernatural conventions.

While many of the campaigns only focus on selling different types of shirts and jackets, the “Rock God” design is being offered on beanies and necklaces as well. There is also an option to purchase a download of “Fare Thee Well (Dink’s Song)”, the song Rob sang during one of the Supernatural episodes last season.

Like always, the design is only available for a limited time. According to Creation Stands, the last day to purchase something from the campaign is March 20th. All products (excluding downloads) will ship after that date, around the second week of April.

Even if you’re unable to buy something from the campaign, Rob explained that the most important part of it all is becoming aware. He urged everyone to check out the National Stroke Association’s website, which further explains the signs and symptoms of someone having a stroke.

If you are interested in grabbing an item or two with the “Rock God” design, you can do so here. Just remember; they won’t be around forever.
