I’ve been wondering about this for a while, so it’s interesting to see that a media outlet was trying to figure it out too, even if that media outlet is Radar Online. Kristen Stewart hasn’t been seen with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile in months. It used to be, several times a month they would get pap’d together in LA. They live/lived together, they would often get coffee or smoothies together in the morning or they would go out to eat. But since August… nothing. The tabloids have said some stuff here and there about how there may be trouble between them, but now Radar is coming out and saying that they broke up.
Kristen Stewart‘s rebound romance with former assistant Alicia Cargile has come to an end, as RadarOnline.com has learned from a source close to the actress that they have “officially ended their relationship.”
The pair, who have not been photographed together since Aug. 1, “mutually decided to split and it was definitely an amicable breakup,” the source said. “Kristen is just so busy right now that she does not have the time to be in a serious relationship.”
Speculation that Stewart and Cargile were more than just friends started in 2013, after Stewart and longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson split following her public cheating scandal involving Snow White director Rupert Sanders. At the time, Cargile — a Los Angeles-based visual effects producer — was also working as the A-lister’s assistant and the two became inseparable.
“They have a lot of love for each other and they always will,” the friend tells Radar. “But Alicia does not want to be a part of her jet-setting life anymore. They had to come to an understanding that this could just simply be a case of the right person, but wrong time.”
Do you think this is for real? I think it might be, and I’m just basing that on the fact that they haven’t been seen together in so long (in Hollywood terms). I also think Radar is probably right when they say that Kristen and Alicia were just doing different things and it’s not like there was a third party involved, although with Kristen, you really never know.
In one of Kristen’s interviews from her American Ultra promotional tour back in August, Kristen was asked how she defines her sexuality, and she said in part: “Google me, I’m not hiding…. If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it… I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’” That’s just an FYI – I do think she would probably self-identify as bisexual, but she’s just not into identifying right now.
