Matthew Perry to SKIP Friends Reunion!

Within 48 hours of announcement of the most anticipated Friends reunion, it seems like the fans of the show (which is like 75% of the world’s population, we calculated) will have to wait some more for the actual reunion.

Bummer my FRIENDS!

The reason? Matthew Perry’s rep has confirmed that the actor will NOT be attending the reunion next month.

Earlier this week it was announced that a two-hour tribute show in celebration of TV director James Burrows filming his 1,000th TV episode will be recorded later this month and is set to air on NBC on February 21. The show was also supposed to feature Matthew Perry, Courtney Cox, Jenifer Aniston, Matt Le Blanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer, thus organizing the most awaited event of the century.

However, now the news is that Perry, who stars as Chandler Bing, will not be able to attend its filming since he will be in London rehearsing for his play, The End Of Longing, which begins previews on February 2 at the Playhouse Theatre.

Could it BE any worse?

Rumors has it that NBC authorities had the knowledge of Perry’s schedule even before their TCA announcement.

Nonetheless, we truly wish that Matthew could make it to the recording so that we’ll finally get to witness the highly anticipated moment of the decade, which we’ll still be looking forward to!
