Bill Sheridan is one of the most popular and richest American coach who was born on January 27, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Before he became the defensive coordinator, he played the role of coach of the Giants linebackers ‘ head coach. Sheridan took over from Steve Spagnuolo after he left to become the head coach post for the St. Louis Rams. Sheridan was the linebackers coach at the Giants for the last four seasons following his appointment in 2005. Giants director of football Tom Coughlin promoted Sheridan over secondary coach Peter Giunta. He was dismissed the 4th of January, 2010 following the Giants defense suffered a dip when the team lost 8 of their previous 11 games and conceded the Giants to score 40 points five separate occasions, which is a record for the franchise.
On January 1, 2014, Sheridan agreed to become the linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions.
In June, 2016, Sheridan was named to Sports Illustrated’s Dream Coaching Team for the NFL for Linebackers.
On the 19th of January in 2010 Sheridan was employed to coach the Miami Dolphins to coach their inside linebackers.
Sheridan along with his partner, Jaycine, have four children: Joe, Nick, Mark and Natalie.
